Hi, I'm Teresa — and I've been chasing light my whole life.

Long before it was a career, photography was just who I was. As a kid, I was always behind a camera — photographing backyard animals, friends, anything that caught my eye. That curiosity grew into a passion, and that passion grew into over 25 years as a professional photographer. Some things just choose you.

Over the years, I built a studio in Florida where I had the privilege of capturing some of life's most tender moments — newborns just days old, little ones growing too fast, and families creating memories they'll pass down for generations. And then, about 10 years ago, I picked up a video camera — and everything changed again.

There's something almost indescribable about a film that brings a moment back to life. Not just an image, but a voice. A laugh. The way your child tilts their head or reaches for your hand. Video added a dimension to storytelling I didn't know I was missing, and now photo and film together are how I tell the most complete, most emotional version of your story.

These days I'm based in the Midwest, and my work has grown into something bigger than a session — it's a whole creative life. I photograph and film for the love of it: chasing golden light on a hiking trail, finding beauty in unexpected places on my travels, and yes, sometimes just in my own backyard with my dog by my side. I'm also a wife of 27 years and a mom of four (ranging from 9 to 25!), so I understand deeply how fast life moves — and why it's worth capturing.
